The above position was presented to me by a recruiter around October 2012. There was no phone screening process, instead the management wanted to meet me on site in early November. I met with 3 people that that, including the manager of the position. The interview process was friendly, and I got a good sense of the company operations. Thank you emails were sent. No feedback from the company, but after some inquiries from the recruiter we got a second interview.
The second interview was scheduled in early December. Yes you read it right, a whole month later. I met two people in this interview, both seemed very nice. One of them did inquire about some experience which I did not have, to which I replied that I can overcome with research and learning. Post interview I also met the HR lead, which informed me the 3rd round involves the CIO. Thank you emails were sent again. No feedback from the company, even after repeated inquiries from the recruiter.
About 2 months after the 2nd interview I found myself disappointed with the lack of professionalism and etiquette by the company. After all both me and the interviewer took time and went through a long process. Simply ignoring my as a candidate is just not ethical in my opinion. I sent a very polite email to the HR lady directly asking for some kind of feedback, even if it was rejection. Alas, no response to date.
