      Manager Trainee Interview

      11 Aug 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Coconut Creek, FL
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Coconut Creek, FL) in Jun 2019

      Interview

The hiring process took about a month. First is a phone interview with an HR recruiter follow by an in-person interview. The recruiter will ask questions about your sales and customer service skills since it is imperative for them that you have the sales techniques to sell their supplementary insurance to their customers. After this, if the interviewer likes you, you proceed to visit your local Enterprise in which you will shadow another fellow manager trainee. The last interview is with the Regional Manager in which he will ask interview questions such as "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?". "Why should we hire you?" & "How would I know if you are leaving or planning to leave the position in less than 6 months"? Enterprise has a high turn over rate. Shifts are 12 hours a day to 55 to 60 hours a week. A manager trainee is expected to open at 7:30 am and close at 6 pm and stay passed closing time sometimes close to 7 o clock. Also, I felt that I was being misled from the beginning. Enterprise base salary is based on a 40-hour shift of $15.86 an hour which is close to $30,450 dollars a year. During the interview process and training HR emphasized my starting salary was 42k a year but that is misleading because the only way to get compensated with that salary is if you are willing to work their crazy amount of overtime. They are always short of staff. Be expected to wash cars and vacuum clean them. Also, be expected to work inside in any car dealership there is an Enterprise desk inside. Your promotion depends on your sales target. You only get promoted if you sale a LOT.

      Interview

I had three round of interviews the first and last weren’t that bad, but my second interview with the district manager, I sweat so much. It was really intense. They want competitive people, so most everyone is an athlete. The job itself is long hours, and highly tracked activy and sales.

      Question 1
