If you work in IT Software, please run away from interviewing for this company. They will waste your time for 2 months, conduct 6 rounds and then at the end will ghost you! Or you will get to know you didn’t have a particular/niche experience that’s why we can’t offer you! You had the information about my experience from Day1/Round1, why did you waste my time and your panelist’s time by scheduling non sensical interview rounds when I was missing a mandatory experience. So, my advice to fellow candidates is, if their HR calls, just say No, and that you work in software domain and this is a hardware company, please interview someone with electronics company.
After 3 rounds of Technical and 1 round of HR, there was one round with the SVP/MD of the company
So far all the interviewers were warm, cordial, could hold a good conversation! But the SVP was rude and arrogant, came 15 minutes late to the interview, didn’t apologise, no pleasantries exchanged, started with “what have you done” questions, continued with asking irrelevant questions, not relating to the job or my experience. Gave feedback to the hiring manager to conduct one more round! And after the final round went well, Veto’ed it to reject the candidate based on his nonsensical questions. Whattaguy!
First of all, I don’t understand the logic of this interview round, an engineer, who is going to work as an individual contributor, getting interviewed by Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the company, who comes with his own set of knowledge, experience, and expectations and who has zero interest in the role requirements or the candidates experience! Whattapolicy!
