*Over the course of nearly 3 months* Three phone interviews with hiring manger that lasted 30-60 minutes and consisted of behavioral and problem-solving questions.
One on-site interview that lasted four(!) hours. Spoke with the original hiring manger, their boss (Director), and a panel of employees from the IT department. Combination of questions that involved my background/experience and normal conversational dialogue between parties. Very confident in how interview played out.
I followed up a week after on-site interview to for any updates. 2 months had passed without any word from hiring manager. They had eventually reached out and asked for a phone call. After providing availability and following up once again a week after that, no response.
I fully understand if company decides to go a different route, but the lack of professionalism of the manger to not communicate is what disappointed me, especially considering the fact that a current employee had referred me for this role.
