I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Embassy Suites (Lompoc, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
The interview was good. The GM was very nice and I felt comfortable instantly. I knew this was the place I wanted to work. The work environment was nice and clean and everyone seemed very nice. The managers seemed to really care about the employees.

Interview
I was asked to come in to fill out paper work and then proceed by having an interview. Sat down with the Guest Services manager and had a wonderful interview. She then asked me to do a mock phone call, "to see how I sounded on the phone". She told me that I had the job but just needed to meet the GM, which she would call me the next day and let me know when to come back for that. I didn't hear from her, so I tried calling several times and left voicemails; I never received a call back. About a week and a half later I received what I can only describe as a "pocket dial" from her office phone, as the voicemail that was left had nothing on it, just rustling noises. I called back almost immediately, spoke with someone at the front desk, to which he said, "Oh yes, she's in her office right now, I'll let her know I'm transferring your call back." My call was transferred and eventually went to voicemail, to which I left a voicemail, explaining the voicemail I had received from her and asked her to please call me back. It's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything.
