I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Elevance Health (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
Applied online through the company website. A then received an email a few weeks later to set up a phone interview. Phone interview was very basic, asking questions about previous employment, what I knew about actuarial science and the healthcare field, and some behavioral questions. A few days later I received an email toset up a date and time to come to Indianapolis for an on site interview. Interview consisted of two separate 45 minute interviews with actuaries in the comapny. One was behavioral and one was about previous work history. I then went out for lunch with two of the actuaries, which was very laid back and friendly. I came back from lunch to do a case study, where I sat with two actuaries and performed some of the work that they would expect out of an entry level actuary.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Elevance Health in Feb 2023
Interview
Phone screen first - very much just logistical questions If you get through that, the next interview is 3 part (for me: 1 person, 2 people, 2 people) each 30 minute for 1.5 hr total. Very much behavioral questions: working in a team, what you look for in a coworker, managing studying and work. Also questions about resume, be prepared to give examples of how you were impactful. For instance, if you put something like "managed x y z in order to explain a b c..." then be prepared to explain what that means.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Elevance Health (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
We used Google Meetings. He asked me the average behavioral questions, such as, "What motivates you?", "Why is there a gap in your resume?", etc. He then mentioned that due to me not having a job or any experience whatsoever that it'll be hard for them to hire me, and wished me luck on my career. The whole interview lasted less than 15 minutes.

The screening process was very easy and casual. The interviewer made me feel comfortable and asked very basic questions. We talked for about 30 minutes about my resume and a few HR questions. Feedback happened within a week.
