I applied through university. I interviewed at Element X Creative (Dallas, TX) in Jun 2016
Interview
At first I was recommended by an instructor who had connections with the company, and that's how I found out about the opening. I received an email about creating a virtual environment based off a piece of concept art within a week. I did my best with the test and took screen captures of it to show whenever I met with the recruiter.
My interview consisted mainly of reviewing my portfolio website and discussing the experience I've had so far. I had just graduated from a University, so I shared what I could: mainly school projects.
I started the following week.

Question 1
This isn't really a question, but the hardest thing for me was just hearing the hourly pay. With very little experience, I didn't negotiate and just accepted the rate.
