Interview
I met with the owner (Joe Garraffo), who was very friendly, and he conducted the interview with me. The insightful questions and illustrative examples led to an engaging conversation that lasted almost an hour.

Interview
Very short. On the surface people seemed welcoming. The young man I met with obviously didn't want me there. He was scowling, slouched over and stared at me in the most disapproved way imaginable. The owner seems genuinely nice, thus young man's demeanor changed as soon as the owner walked in. I tried to keep it together although my anxiety went through the roof after such display of character. The owner was respectful, we talked, they explained the job functions but this guy was on a mission to prove something and I have no idea why. He proceded to tell me about an incident that happened when he posted a "fair" Caucasian on to twitter to advertise an hair product that is made for African Americans. I didn't make anything of it. My citizenship came into questioning, all my previous achievements that I tried to to illustrate were overlooked and counteracted by questions that would deem me u worthy. At the end of the interview, I was told that they are looking for someone long term and If they hire me they wouldn't want me to leave and set up some deli on the street. The reason why I am writing this is because at that time I didn't realize what was happening, but now that I have switched careers and work in the legal field..... I now know exactly what happened. I however have to say the owner is nice and another one of the ladies I met are very nice but man, that was my worst experience at any interview.... ever!
