There were a total of 6 interviews. The first interview was a video interview that asked me general questions about NLP model architecture (mostly transformers). The second interview was a behavioral interview with the manager of the analytics team. The third and fourth interviews were also behavioral interviews that were often repetitive. All the behavioral interviews were 30 min in duration. Then, there was a technical interview. It was super simple - a spread sheet and some questions about how you could use the data to help financial analysts. Lastly, there was an hour long presentation. Overall, the process was very long. What is more, they said they selected someone whose background better fit the role. Such a statement was obviously political speak as such a decision should and can be made on previous work experience, and if it did require 5 hours of interview time to make such an assessment, I am glad I didn't get an offer.
