I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Edward Jones in Oct 2012
Interview
The first round is at your University with 2 executives. Then you have to provide a writing sample about a predetermined topic. You then have two hour long phone interviews with a panel of 3 to 5 individuals. The only negative thing was they interviewed me for the wrong position. I applied for trading and they interviewed me for the trust division.

Question 1
Make sure to know a lot about the trading and/or trust industry
There were two different stages. One that was similar to HireVue where you recorded your own answers, but you could rerecord and take your time, which was nice. The second was with a person from Human Capital and was all behavioral.

Interview
The interview process was friendly but formal and serious. The team members are very helpful in learning about the company but ask question to learn about you. They truly seem to care if you are a good fit.
The first step is a systematic interview, recording interview questions for 2 minutes or less in front of the camera, there are a lot of small questions, all about behavior question. The overall difficulty is not high.
