I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Richmond, VA) in Mar 2019
Interview
IT was extremely long and unnecessary. They asked the same question in each stage and made you go through a Day-In-The-Life simulation as the last step. This was nearly impossible since they said there was no need for previous experience, but then penalized you for not being experienced.

Question 1
Asked about times you had to go against something that the popular opinion and pursue something that was more morally correct.
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Ann Arbor, MI) in Nov 2010
Interview
The first step was a phone interview with someone in the HR department. If you pass that intervirew, then you have an on site interview with the Financial Planner. The lady I spoke with was very nice, but the questions were ones I had never been asked before i.e tell me about a specific time you worked with someone new..... This was such an often occurrence for me that it threw me off guard. There were 7 questions, and they were so general, it was hard to come up with specific answers. At the end she said I should hear from someone within 3-5 business days. It is now the end of December and I have never heard back.
