I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Saint Louis, MO) in Sept 2015
Interview
This was a long, detailed process. First there is a lengthy online application. Then if you pass that, at least two interviews via telephone with some typical interview questions and some specific questions regarding former employment. If you pass the phone interviews, then you be recommended to the FA at the branch you applied to and have a face-to-face interview with him or her.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you handle disgruntled or difficult people? What are your strengths and weaknesses. Describe a situation at work where you found a problem caused by you, or someone else and what did you do to, if anything, to rectify it.
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.
I interviewed at Edward Jones (Westlake Village, CA)
Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
