I applied online. I interviewed at Educators for Excellence
Interview
They have lengthy, multi step interview process. You do a self guided interview, followed by another long exercise, and then one last zoom interview. It seemed like a perfect fit based on my background and experience, so I read the bios to see who they went with, and the job ended up going to someone far less qualified. It was blaring reverse racism. I’ve never experienced anything quite like that.
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Educators for Excellence (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
Resume and you will most likely be asked to complete a project. Intake interview, then a committee of 7 people then final interview with team lead. Interview
I’ve Interviewed with Educators for Excellence 3x. Each time, despite mentioning previous experiences, it was like starting from scratch. The process is rigorous and afte 3 unique interview processes, it’s become clear that they don’t really know what they’re looking for and might just be on a constant search for talent. I made it to the final round the first two times and withdrew the third time before starting the process again. The second time I interviewed my best friend was also interviewing. He is a white man and didn’t even want the job lol and I helped him write his take home assignment. He got the offer over me despite having less experience in New York where the role would’ve been based
