I interviewed at Eclectics International (Nairobi)
Interview
The interview process is very thorough and can take most of the day. It involves several stages, including detailed assessments and interviews with different panel members. The process is well-structured, but candidates should prepare for a full-day commitment.

Interview

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eclectics International (Nairobi) in Feb 2022
Interview
Just to preface my review. I've had multiple tech job interviews that ended with and without offers so I can say my review on this is based on "interview experience". These guys have by far the WORST interview process I have ever come across.
Firstly the interview didn't begin on time ie 9:30 ended up starting almost an hour later
The interview had three types of questions
Aptitude test (1 hr)
DSA test
Project based test (A microservices architecture type of project)
Any experienced dev will note doing all the above in a single day will take a toll on you especially if you were not informed before hand what the structure of the interview would be like. I could just tell from this interview process they want work horses. Also I don't get why we physically had to be there, gave me the feel that there would be a lot of micro management working there. This could have been a take home test with a deadline and have interviews going through answers. If they are worried about someone copying trust me, someone who didn't code their work can easily be found out in less than five questions.
I did narrate the interview process in detail to my colleagues and most of them wondered why I didn't just walk out cause of how bad it was.
There were so many things/red flags I didn't like about interviewing here that by the end of it I didn't even want the job but I just hope they improve their process.
