Interview questions [1]
Question 1
2026 Government Subcontractor. Women from company obsessed about D.E.I. and interactions therein with one previous company with a track record of D.E.I. They like D.E.I. a lot and ask and asked a lot of intrusive interaction questions to determine where you stood on it. NOTE: it is Federally Illegal to promote D.E.I. when a government subcontractor.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Echelon Supply and Service (Liverpool, NY) in Oct 2024
Interview
1) initial contact went well.
2) Coordinating interview was a mess. Canadian H.R. blaming Liverpool site for lack of response in getting back to her to confirm interview times.
3) Onsite interview went okay. Old guy runs the place, and has a big ego. Appears he put his daughter in charge (had all the appearances of such with comments and interactions between the 2 As he was affectionally trying to teach her how to run the business.
4) Old guy openly insulted the quality women now in charge repeatedly. Condescending towards her, and, "she has a lot to learn about quality' were repeatedly stated in a derogatory manor.
5) Quality Woman grimaced a lot at these comments, and said very little. Obvious tension between the Old Manager guy and her.
6) Current Quality woman seemed very weak-minded, and unable to defend herself.
6) Quality woman had the weakest hand-shake that a child could easily out do.
7) The new managing woman had a similar grip, but was very sweaty and gross hand shake.
8) They seem to have a lot of Quality issues from current staff, to management. Mostly stemming from personal interaction of the current management staff.
They need a lot Quality help here on multiple levels throughout the company, starting with Management.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"What would you do if knew a part had a quality issue, and the Manager wanted to send it to the U.S. Military for them to use anyways?" It blew my mind that the old guy seems to have sent defective components to the U.S. military intentionally and has fought with Quality to NOT do this.
