      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eaze (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2018

      Interview

They kept me from mid-morning till the late afternoon and didn't provide lunch or time to eat. The technical interviewer was pushy and condescending. Engineers stressed that they were frequently required to work weekends or after-hours to implement features on an ad-hoc basis. People at the VP level talked up the "collaborative culture", but individual contributors told me about how they kept their headphones on all day in the hope that nobody would talk to them.

      Interview

elistist snobby interviewer. I was referred by someone in the company that i worked closely with before. from what i could tell the interviewer was hell bent on getting me out of the process. considering that they asked me little or nothing about what I did in past it was a surprising conversation. I was high (pun intended) on the company before I spoke to them but after the conversation I would never consider them as an employer. I sent them a note and told them never mind.

      Software Engineer Interview

      Easy interview

      Application

I interviewed at Eaze in Jan 2016

      Interview

Met a recruiter a job fair. We exchanged emails but then she stated that they only wanted seniors. I took the challenge and implemented on that. I added additional features that I found out was part of the onsite challenge. After submission, I had a call with the engineer, but was called immediately afterwards by the same recruiter to be rejected for not having enough experience. The engineer really just asked me what I found most challenging about React. It seemed like it was planned from the very beginning; a massive time waster in having me take the coding challenge. All their challenges are posted on their github and a massive joke to work on. Do not waste your time unless you're a senior level. No matter how well you perform, they won't even consider you unless you were a senior at your previous location.
