I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EYELEVEL (Portland, OR)
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter about an open position, and was asked if I was available for a phone interview. The interview was fairly straight forward, and I moved onto the next round which was another phone interview. That interview went well, and I was asked to come to their office and meet with two people. I took time out of my work day for all of these interviews, and to write thank you notes to everyone. I followed up a week later to see if a decision had been made, and never heard back. It is completely disrespectful for companies to treat candidates this way, and I have let all of my connections know not to waste their time with this company.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at EYELEVEL (Portland, OR) in Apr 2017
Interview
I was contacted by the HR Specialist for an initial phone screening on a Thursday that went well. They then set up an hour for me to come in and meet with two people together the following Tuesday. That meeting went well so they set up a meeting for me to meet with three other people together the Tuesday after that. Then Friday of that week they set up a time for me to come in and "shadow" another account manager for about an hour and a half. Overall the process was extremely professional and everyone I met and worked with through the process was friendly, open and honest. They really care about culture and how you would fit in with their teams. Even if your background doesn't exactly match what they do, if you are smart, ambitious and enthusiastic about learning it will go a long way.

Question 1
If it was your first day on the job and your boss was out and a client emailed you asked you for 12,000 of a specific fixture that needed to go to multiple destinations all over the US and needed them shipped in the next 3 weeks, what would you do say?
