I had a phone screen that went great, and was asked to come in for an in person interview with a number of team members shortly thereafter. I really enjoyed everyone I met, thought I was a great fit, was very qualified for the position, my salary requirements were in average range for this title, and was told by multiple interviewers that they really wanted to fill the position quickly. One of my interviewers even added me on LinkedIn directly after the interview. I was told that I should hear very shortly. I was then contacted sporadically over the course of the next three weeks by the hiring manager telling me they were just finishing up their "process" and should have an answer soon, and apologizing for the delay without any explanation as to why. Eventually I got a rejection, with absolutely no explanation as to why or feedback from the process. The communication after the interview definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and I thought they were extraordinarily disrespectful of my time.
