I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at ESW (Madrid) in Jun 2026
Interview
The process consisted of three stages, and the lack of professionalism was evident throughout. The first was an introductory call, but the interviewer acted like a robot simply ticking boxes on a checklist rather than actually caring about my professional background or experience.
The second stage was a 40-minute English assessment. The interviewer showed up 12 minutes late, casually using a previous interview as an excuse. Prior to the final stage, I took the initiative to perform QA on their official website. I found multiple bugs and sent them a detailed report, expecting to demonstrate my proactivity and value.
The final stage was a 1.5-hour technical interview, and once again, the interviewers arrived 15 minutes late. When I brought up my background and the bug report I had submitted, they completely ignored it and showed zero interest. Instead, they just threw a rapid-fire round of 7 theoretical questions at me (of which I answered 5 correctly).
After that, there was complete silence until I received a generic, automated rejection email. They lacked the basic decency to even say "thank you" for the free QA work and the bugs I reported. The human element at this company is completely absent, and they clearly do not respect candidates' time.

Question 1
P: How would you properly report a bug?
I explained the standard QA procedure (steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, environment, and evidence). Ironically, I had already demonstrated this by sending them a real bug report from their own broken website, which they completely ignored during the interview.
P:Theoretical questions regarding Database structures and API communication.
Answered based on my QA experience validating databases and testing API endpoints.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ESW (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2022
Interview
Very pleasant, recruiter was very informative and communicated at all times. I was kept informed and had my questions answered promptly . I got to meet numerous team members throughout the process to learn more about the company.
