Horrible experience, unprofessional, untruthful, abusive behaviour from recruitment agency.
ESI Media should reconsider agencies they work with, they are seriously destroying their brand reputation.
Recruitment agency deliberately lied over and over about contract type, salary and bonus. I discovered it was a fixed term contract on the day of the interview from the hiring manager. Few days later I discovered looking at another LinkedIn job post the salary was 30% lower of what the recruiter told me. When confronting the recruiter about it his reply was "I was not aware of this"... He wasn't aware of many things, whenever I asked him anything about the role he wouldn't know. He would only harass me with phone calls - even dozens per day - to book interviews. That's all he cared about. And if I couldn't because I was busy he would blame me that I couldn't find time for the interview. He assumed I would be free, don't already have a job I need to be present for and just expect me to drop everything so he could book my interview.
Then suddenly a colleague of the recruiter took over and confirmed it was all lies but then he would blame me he was spending a lot of time working to meet my expectations wen I've only been only for one interview. And my expectations were the lies I was told by his colleague. And I have been in That was enough, i clearly stated i was dropping this process as ridiculously ambiguous and dodgy. Do you think he then stopped? No, he didn't. But he started to pressure me on how the hiring manager was ready to delay his holidays for me. Doubling salary, bonus, everything.
Please avoid at all costs, their judgment on the recruitment agency, lack of clear communication and desperation are all red flags.
