I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ERM (Hong Kong) in Dec 2021
Interview
12.28 Application
12.29 phone call from HR
1.28 Decline letter
To be honest, I didn't expect their response would be that quick and not fully prepared. The HR was very friendly and asked me about my skills, experience, expected salary, notice period, etc.. On skill level, I think I've perfectly matched their requirements. However, I think they want someone who can work immediately and in a different city or country (which I said no directly).
The decline letter came very quickly and I appreciated it.
In addition, the job I applied for is in HK, but the HR call was from Singapore. She said HQ is in Singapore and they are in charge of the first-round interview for APAC. I hope everyone notices it and does not miss this opportunity.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ERM (Cleveland, OH)
Interview
Application, met with recruiter, first round interview, practice/sample exercise, final 4 person/2 hour interview that went (in my mind) exceedingly well. For a role I was, if anything, over-qualified for with a masters. My recruiter nor any of my 5 interviewers responded to my thank you/follow ups, after wasting my time for weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about my masters degree and prior experience and relocation availability.
