My acquaintance with EMCD began on September 18, 2025. That was when I received my first invitation and the team's contact details. At first, the offer was for the position of Product Unit Leader, a role involving managing the product division within the company.
It was the start of a pretty intense interview process—phone calls, meetings, discussions with different specialists—step by step. I knew right away that the company had a serious approach: each new conversation revealed more details about the business, its tasks, and internal structure. I appreciated that it wasn't a formal interview just for the sake of it—it was a real two-way conversation.
Then, partway through the hiring process, the company went through some restructuring. A new position opened up, and I was offered the chance to try my hand at a broader role—head of a business unit. On October 31, I was officially confirmed as Business Unit Leader.
To finalize the agreement, I communicated directly with the manager and owner of EMCD several times. These meetings were particularly memorable. The conversations were very lively, personal, and inspiring. We exchanged business cases, discussed ideas, argued, and looked for the best solutions. We talked about strategy, working with stakeholders, product development, and areas related to financing and crypto instruments. That's when I felt like we were on the same vibe, speaking the same language.
As soon as I joined the company, I got involved in the onboarding process. It was important to me that my expectations matched reality. I came for a certain atmosphere, level of tasks, and approach—and that's exactly what I got.
The company may not seem like a big deal at first, but after just a few weeks on the job, you start to see things differently: there are tons of processes in place, lots of talented specialists, and clear communication between teams. The closer you look, the more you see how well thought out and systematic everything is.
Personally, I really liked the corporate benefits and the company's overall approach to staff—everything was organized in a transparent and comfortable way. All in all, my start at EMCD turned out exactly as I had imagined: dynamic, intense, and with the feeling that a really interesting journey lay ahead.
