I applied through university. I interviewed at EFE Labs (Horsham, PA) in May 2016
Interview
I applied through my school's website. The process took a week. I interviewed in May 2016. The interview was conducted at their manufacturing plant in Horsham. First, I was asked to complete a job application. Then, I was interviewed by two managers. They were very professional and asked both technical and non-technical questions regarding my work experience. Then, I was given a tour of the facility. Next, I was interviewed by an engineer who also asked technical/non technical questions. A few days later after the interview I was contacted by HR and I was offered the position.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at EFE Labs in Apr 2014
Interview
This was perhaps the strangest interview experience of my life. I was given a tour of the facility and was then interviewed by two of the engineers, each of whom were very professional and asked very typical, non-technical questions mainly regarding my background and different projects I had worked on.
After the second interview was complete, the owner / president of the company gave me what (I hope) will be the most uncomfortable interview experience I will have in my career. He started off by asking me two non-technical questions about my past work and then asked me who I voted for in the last presidential election. The remainder of the interview was spent with him making his own political persuasion very clear.
