connected through email and phone, then had an in-office interview with both the Administrative Assistant and the Controller. They asked a few questions and gave me a chance to ask questions. I took a short skills test that was appropriate for the position.

What is my skill level with Microsoft Office software and familiarity with Word Styles & shortcuts.

Interview
The company shows interest in the choice of moving to Alaska(I was from the lower 48) and takes time explaining the challenges I would be facing.
Though they were concerned with my lesser experience in the kind of projects they do, they valued the work ethics and willingness to learn and adapt more.
They sent out old projects and designs for me to understand what they are expecting me to be working on and then conducted the second interview.

*Experience with structural softwares.
*Understanding what the company does.
*Ease to communicate with drafting and experience with CAD.
*Technical understanding of arctic structures.
*Exposure with wooden/concrete/steel structures.
Interview over the phone since I wasn't in the area yet. I received a call after I took the exam. The interview process was between a group of people. I was asked questions from the Owner, the previous employee who I was replacing, and also the CFO.
