I applied in-person. I interviewed at EC Manufacturing (Shawnee, KS) in May 2014
Interview
I had an onsite interview with the Director of Engineering which wasn't very long. It mainly went over the job description and discussed some of my prior experience. The second interview was with the Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and Executive Assistant. This interview focused on my prior experience and some hypothetical situation questions. It also included a plant tour.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EC Manufacturing (Shawnee, KS) in Dec 2013
Interview
The panel interview was very easy and relaxed. The only downside it occurred on Christmas Eve which was unusual. I got an offer by email before I got home from the interview. The background check came back in one day, as did the drug screen. They let choose my own start date and gave me time to get my child care situated.
