I interviewed at E3G THIRD GENERATION ENVIRONMENTALISM
Interview
Relatively straightforward and smooth. 45 minutes interview with some competency based questions. Some questions were asked about my knowledge on policy and the regulatory developments on sustainability and climate disclosures.
I applied online. I interviewed at E3G THIRD GENERATION ENVIRONMENTALISM (Washington, DC)
Interview
There were a few people on the panel for the first interview, but it was conducted as a friendly conversation. They asked some common questions and tried to get my opinion on various issues. Then they sent me an assignment which I had to submit before the second interview. The instructions were unclear and while the email said to ask for clarification if needed, the clarification was basically a restatement of the one sentence instruction by someone who did not seem to now much about it. In the second interview it was clear that my response to the assignment wasn't what they had in mind.

Question 1
The interview questions were typical getting to know the candidate, but the assignment was odd. It was something like imagine you're an advisor to PM who needs to explain the implications of the radically different framework for international cooperation as proposed by the French Pres. Macron.
