Their controls engineer interview is four steps long. It took six weeks to go from the 1st interview to the 2nd, and two weeks later I have not received feedback with the 2nd one. Even if I presume it is a no, this is far too long to drag out a process, especially when in both cases they made it sound like we would move along to the next step within a week. It did not help that in the 2nd interview I got several questions pertaining to why someone in my field would be applying, which makes me wonder why I was chosen to go to that interview in the first place. It's simply far too slow and inefficient of a process.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at E2i (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2019
Interview
Phone call was short, sweet, and to the point. Felt as if everything went well. Just decided to take another route. They did end up sending a denial. I was content with the process.
Thank you for providing interview feedback. It sounds like your experience was fairly simple. The parts of the process that you experienced remain the same in our new process. Hopefully, you were able to find a great employer in your search and I wish you well.
Thank you again,
Sarah
