I applied and was invited to complete a video interview with a recruiter within about five minutes. That interview went well, and I was told that if I moved forward, the next interview would likely be the final round. About an hour later, I was invited to an on-site interview with two HR Generalists and the HR Manager. However, during the on-site interview, I only met with the HR Generalists. When I asked about meeting the HR Manager, I was told that would happen in an additional round if I advanced further, which felt somewhat inconsistent with the earlier communication.
During the interview, I was also told that because the company operates in construction, employees should be comfortable with rough language and borderline disrespect in the workplace. Additionally, the interviewers mentioned that candidates frequently were not showing up for interviews, which raised some concerns for me about the hiring process and overall candidate experience.
The role itself appeared to still be evolving, and there was limited clarity around the exact responsibilities. From my perspective, that made the position feel somewhat undefined. For an entry-level HR Coordinator role, a three-interview process also felt excessive. Communication after the interview was limited, and I ultimately did not receive follow-up regarding the outcome.
