I had 2 interviews and was overseas within 4 months. I spoke with a woman who was very well spoken and gave me instructions on what I needed to do to get myself ready for working overseas.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at DynCorp International (Killeen, TX)
Interview
They ask the basics of being a mechanic on the AH64D. The interview was very relaxing and felt more like a sales pitch of why someone should work for them.
Very smooth and clear. Only 3 interviews required: recruiter, hiring manager and site manager. The company lays out everything very clearly from pay, benefits, time off, etc. The recruiter of course ensures you check a few standard boxes.

The questions were standard that you'd expect for the role.
