Recruiter reached out by email for availability after I submitted my application online. Set up 30 mins phone screening. First(and only) question was what are your salary expectations even though it was listed on the application. Recruiter proceeded to tell me their range was considerably lower than my expectations. My question is: Why bother contacting candidates who are well out of the company’s reach and waste their time? The whole “interview” was 4 minutes long and in my opinion 4 minutes too long. Stop wasting everyone’s time.

1 phone screen followed by three separate half hour Zoom calls with the hiring manager, his counterpart and the director of operations. Once I demonstrated the required experience in the phone screen, it turned into a selling of the company's benefits and plans for growth. As for the three zoom interviews, all three were incredibly relaxed and conversational. The first was the most like a traditional interview while the second only felt like a conversation. The last interview consisted of a few questions about my experience training other people and an overview of the workload for the position. Before the call ended, the last interviewer informed me that all three interviews had gone well and that they hoped to speak with me again.
