I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Dust Identity
Interview
4 stages. Recruiter, 2 techs, system design.
Unfortunately there is little frontend expertise there and the questions asked are very basic. Seemed like not much thought went into the tech challenge, it didn’t really test much. Their higher level engineer knew a bit but I didn’t know how to interpret his eagerness in trying to explain very basic things to me throughout. Was it bias, arrogance, a side-effect of not being familiar with the frontend community? Felt a bit like all 3.
I applied online. I interviewed at Dust Identity in May 2022
Interview
Did research and applied online. Heard back a couple of weeks later and went through the first round interview with the internal HR person. Went well, asked if we would be moving forward and all things were in the positive. HR said how I'd be hearing back before the end of the week. That was a month ago. Nothing - crickets.
Its not OK to ghost people or not have the common courtesy to communicate openly and honestly. This was for a senior level position of which I was qualified and had relevant experience.
Pretty Mickey Mouse when it comes to follow up and follow through.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dust Identity (New York, NY) in May 2022
Interview
I had a total of four interviews 1) Head of Talent Acquistion, 2) SVP of Sales and Marketing 3) VP of Operations 4) Account executive. After four interviews it seemed extremely positive, and we were moving forward. I sent a follow up email and heard absolutely nothing back after a couple of attempts. They did not even have the courtesy to tell me they selected someone else which is fine. In my opinion that is a lack of integrity.
