I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Draper (Cambridge, MA) in Jan 2015
Interview
I applied online and was contacted within 3 weeks for a Senior Systems Engineering position. After a short phone interview, I was brought in to interview for multiple positions. This led to an interview day of no less than 8 one-on-one interviews and a one hour technical presentation. The whole process was exhausting but worthwhile, allowing me to talk to various levels of employees and really get a feel for the company and their experiences. The interviewing manager kept me in the loop on progress past the interview date and I received an offer 2 weeks after the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most questions were related to describing my past experiences and asked how I would approach certain real-world scenarios.
First you start with a round of behavioral and get to know you questions. If selected to move on you will then have to give a technical presentation in which everyone from the department is invited and will grill you following your presentation. Overall a very standard process but hard to BS your way through it is you have no idea what you're talking about. Select a technical subject that you are able to defend and you will be fine.

Interview
Applied, received email for an initial phone screening. Lasted slightly under an hour. Was asked general questions about my background, and listened to the interviewers about the projects they lead.
Was contacted later to schedule full interview. Consisted of a 5 hour day of interviews with team members. Gave a technical talk about a project I worked on.
Overall, very relaxed and informal process.
