Initial call with the Harshal Gorde, Managing Director. Basic first round screening interview. Asks about background and other skills. Second round interview is in-person, with 3-4 team members at once. This interview is more technical and they ask questions to test your logic and knowledge of valuations.

Question 1
What interests you about the insurance industry? What do you know about the insurance industry?
We are a sell-side M&A firm that primarily deals with mom-and-pop insurance companies. Given this, how would you go about valuing a small, private insurance company.
3 interviews with recruiter, senior, and owner. Nice people, and company seems good to work for. All the interviews for the role were virtual interviews. Lengthy interview process though. Ultimately did not get the role.
