I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
I did recruiter screening, take-home assignment, and 1st interview (1 behavioral and 1 case interview). Did not pass that round, but there would've been one more interview I believe. The people I spoke to were kind, but I wish they would offer feedback to candidates. They're very picky with who they hire. The job posting was up for over 5 months. Some say they use the interviews to steal ideas but I'm not sure if that is true or they are very selective. Although the process went relatively fast, the coldness when you get rejected after putting in so much effort on the take-home assignment and interviews feels cold and demoralizing.
long, dragged out, time-consuming take home assignments that aren't worth low compensation. take home assignments require SQL, data analysis, and even powerpoint building- feels like way too much free labor.
not a lot of clarity on how long interview processes will actually take

Question 1
situational problem solving based on the team focus
hr screen, case study for two days completion then a couple of behavioural interviews. Process was pretty straightforward but teams were restructuring internally which was not viable for the process. Nice people
