Quick Service Food and Beverage Interview

      12 Oct 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Anaheim, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Aug 2021

      Interview

The interview process for quick service worker was fairly straightforward. I had one phone interview and one on Zoom with an additional background check after the second interview. Each interview had very basic behavioral questions like your strengths and weaknesses. They also gave you scenarios of real life events of that position and ask how you would handle that situation. From applying to the job till getting the job, the process took around a month.

I applied online. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Feb 2019

      Interview

I first applied for the position on February 18, 2019. After my application was submitted I was then invited to do the online interview. I completed my online interview on February 21, 2019 and was then invited to to an in person/ over the phone interview. I opted for over the phone at 8:30 in the morning February 28th; this was the very first appointment time that was available. I had my phone interview and I thought it went pretty well however I was told the position I had applied for was currently full and I would be put on the waiting list. I am currently waiting to hear a response.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort in Jul 2014

      Interview

I applied at disneyland.jobs for a quick service listing and received an automatic confirmation email the same day. I received another email for the web-based interview that asked the common situational questions and what your actions would be. I then received the email to schedule an interview, followed by an appointment confirmation. My interview was scheduled a couple of days later. They asked me the normal questions, "Why do you want to work for Disney?" and "What is a difficult situation that occurred and how did you handle it?" They also asked the usual ones if you have issues working on certain days, if you have trouble following rules, etc. My interviewer was happy to see that I had been a participant of the Disney World College Program. They were not initially able to offer me a position in quick service, but they asked if I would like another role where the work was similar. I agreed and she sent up another appointment for a second interview two days later with the restaurant manager and the restaurant operations manager at one of the hotels. This ended up being a group interview with one other person, but we were not competing. We just alternated sharing answers. They asked about prior work history, three strengths, something you need to work on, why do you want to work for Disney, how do you work in a team, how to maintain a safety standard, etc. Four days later, they sent me an email about scheduling an on-boarding appointment to file some paperwork and where I would receive further information about orientation.
