I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Dillard's (Dallas, TX) in May 2011
Interview
I got the job because I knew somebody who met me and wanted me to work for her department. I met the store manager two days later and had a one-on-one interview with her. She was extremely polite and asked a lot of personality questions. There was more emphasis on how I would fit with the culture of Dillard's, than my actual skills. The people seemed happy, but a bit tense, but I thought nothing of it. It wasn't until about two to three months of actually working at the job that I realized that the hunches I got from the people I ran into were right.
