HR phone screen, two zoom calls and one on-site, process took over a month. At this point, HR told me I was the "finalist" for the position. Then there was a supposedly "delay" in getting the offer to me. I followed up for weeks and over a month. They kept stalling and in retrospect, gave me completely dishonest reasons. Then I was told they picked someone internal because the VP of HR promised them the position. Was not as upset at the outcome as the lack of transparency and wasting my time when interviews didn't matter. Seems like the type of place where higher ups can just hand out roles and overule the hiring process.
