Diageo seems like a good company with interesting roles. They really need to work with their recruiters on candidate experience because it’s awful. I witnessed this first hand and a former colleague had the exact same experience recently. Recruiters don’t close loops. They interview you and they never circle back with next steps. They do not look to build relationships yet rather are transactional in their approach. Additionally they never respond to emails inquiring about next steps. Multiple emails. I personally had the hiring manager say they wanted to move forward and then the next round was never scheduled and I never received a response on the various emails I sent to the recruiter inquiring. It was disappointing. Recruiters that ghost are at the forefront of why job searching is frustrating and creates such a negative impression on a company brand. Overall I really hope TA will focus on this issue as if I experienced it, a friend did with a different recruiter you can bet this happens frequently for roles in Plainfield. As an HR professional of 15 years this was disappointing yet sadly not surprising.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Diageo (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Jun 2025
Interview
Multiple rounds of interview took place. Infact the final round took more than 3 weeks only to get set up, post which I was ghosted. Didn’t hear back from either the hiring manager or the recruiter.
A lot of promise was shown in my candidature throughout the process only to get no response after multiple rounds.
Three stages of interview focusing on both competency and technical ability linked to company values. First interview with talent team, then hiring manager, then with a senior leader within the function.

Question 1
Describe a situation where you're had to come up with an innovative solution to a problem.
It was a three step interview & post the last round the team entirely started ghosting without any replies or reverts.
Whether the final decision is positive or negative, being an individual who have devoted so much of our time, deserves a revert; especially when till the last round the feedback was absolutely positive .
