I have been heavily involved in the phone screening, recruiting, and testing process for new hires, and it looks like your coding challenge slipped through the cracks on my end.
In the event we decide to not pursue a candidate I usually provide a detailed explanation of why the coding challenge results were not in line with our hiring goals. This did not happen in your case, and I apologize for that.
