Allowed you to open up exactly what you know and what you want to learn. And have a discussion about something you are passionate about. Enabled you to see that you are a start up and hence will have to play multiple roles in the company. This infact helped me excel in different areas

Interview
Two rounds of interviews one with the few developers and then an interview with management/HR. Initially it was a phone call, to know a bit about myself and explain about the company. This was followed up with a face to face interview with a couple of senior developers and a wrap up of the final interview with the director to make the final decision.
