It was unorganized. The recruiter (from Paladin) didn't understand the job, they confused the role with another one so when I told them what I was interviewing for, they thought it was a sales position. They asked for a very intensive design test, rather than reviewing my portfolio. I told the recruiter that I was uncomfortable with the amount of material they were asking for with no compensation. The recruiter told me that they would make sure it was worth it. The design test was rather large in scope and took over 8 hours to complete, they were impressed with it, but any criticisms that were provided were intentionally non constructive, and served to establish dominance. They told me they could pay me 4-6K more a year, but I'd be guaranteed working 10-12 hour days, and weekends, and I would not be seeing my family much. This was the only interview where at the end I told them it was not a good fit. I also called up the recruiter and told them I did not want to be contacted by them anymore.
