Engineering is a fast paced industry which is also a multidisciplinary endeavour where a diverse workforce is tasked to perform. Private dialogue which is non confrontational is always an ideal starting point. It is possible that the whole team is affected therefore a team“ meet and greet” session may suffice to assuage any tensions which may arise from such conflict. In my experience, disagreements over technical issues are easier to resolve than issues involving interpersonal relationships. Every disagreement is an opportunity to learn about ideas which are totally divergent to your own.
