Started with a recruiter, then directly with the MD (who was great, by the way). After that, I received a case study, which was fairly straightforward. However, I was then asked to complete a logical and numerical test, the kind companies usually use to weed out applicants. I also had to provide references. The reference process, however, was the most problematic part. I was given a very short deadline, and my references complained that there were about 5–6 essay-style questions. For working professionals, it’s not easy to find the time to write lengthy responses for someone within just 3–4 days.
