I applied online. I interviewed at Demandforce (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2020
Interview
I’m did speed round interviews and with 3 managers and became an sdr and then made my way up to account executive. Very easy process and very interesting style of interviewing. I actually enjoyed it
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It was a bunch of questions about random things and they wanted to see how I reacted and responded to them in a quick manner
Interview was great. The typical process I guess. Only critique I have was a lack of questions that allow you to demonstrate your value. It was more just a survey of your prior work experiences.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Demandforce (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2023
Interview
I experienced complete lack of HR professionalism during the initial interview and promised follow-up. The interviewer mumbled through a script, repeating herself frequently, stumbling over paragraphs while she was reading. She seemed distracted as I asked questions, and kept looking over to a second screen, as if she was checking emails while trying to converse with me. The interviewer opened the conversation by presenting the job as being less than enticing, stating it was $55,000 base and that she often has candidates express interest and then back out once they discover the low salary. I later was able to discuss full OTE and frequency of commission payout (monthly) as the call progressed which I felt made the job more attractive. I was surprised the interviewer didn’t accentuate the positive aspects of the role and benefits of working for DemandForce. Again, it was more scripted. Position was presented as hybrid in office/remote with 7am-7:30am start time. KPI – 4 deals per month 3 month ramp up, 100% outbound. Conversation lasted 30 minutes and interviewer said next steps would be to present to two managers and that she would be in touch by a set date to confirm with me. The interviewer ended the conversation on a very positive note but never followed up as promised. I reached back out five days after the day she set for next steps and received an OOO email that she was traveling for two weeks on vacation. I reached out to the OOO contact and received a response that the sales hiring managers were also out for several weeks and that HR could not confirm if the position was still open. I was told they would be in touch once they had more information. Three weeks later I received a canned rejection email. I guess it was a blessing in disguise as I would not be interested in reapplying and definitely would not recommend to other sales professionals looking for new career opportunities. Hopefully DemandForce treats customers better than their career candidates.
