The interview process for my current role was relatively straightforward and consisted of three main steps:
1. Initial Interview: The first step was an interview with the managing partner and the team. During the interview, they asked a few questions to gauge my experience, including questions about my work history, education, and knowledge of venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE).
2. Team Conversations: The second step involved short conversations with various team members. This was designed to provide a better understanding of the role, my potential colleagues and for them to get to know me as well.
3. Offer and Terms Discussion: In the third and final step, I received an offer and discussed the terms of my employment.
