I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2014
Interview
I got hired as a contractor. I did two phone interviews and got hired. If you are prepared, this is a fairly straightforward interview. No trickiness. The interviewers were both very personable. I will say I also had quite a bit of prior airline experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Started out with the general stuff...strengths/weaknesses, "tell me a bout a time when...",why do you want to work for Delta?, Why would you be a good fit?, etc.
Then it got a little more focused on project management...what projects have you managed? How did they turn out? What skills make you a successful project manager?
Two rounds after you talk to HR. One panel interview on the phone and another on site with general managers. Lots of problem solving and situational questions to see how you react to situations.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in Dec 2024
Interview
Consisted of three rounds - recruiter screening, virtual and on site at their HQ. Was a bit slow from initial application to getting the first call but went quickly post that.

Question 1
Can you tell me more about the stakeholders in your org
Normal. It is a typical interview and including the site tour. You will be able to fly to the headquarters for the interview. And you will be interviewed by the supervisor.
