The most demotivating aspect is their approach to the take-home test requirements. Although Deliveroo states they don't expect 100% completion and only what can be covered in the given time, their actions suggest otherwise. They seem to expect a fully production-ready output and for candidates to solve all problems in their partially completed code. This lack of generosity and honesty in their feedback can easily demotivate candidates.
