Awkward process, one team member who was clearly new thanked the other person on the call for recently hiring them. It felt like there was a fair bit of passive aggressive tension on the call

It was okay. The process is long. Looks like a waste of time interviewing with so many people. And it is a lot worse when they ultimately reject you for the most silly reason imaginable.
