I was contacted by an HR representative from Delhivery - North Goa, who shared the job details and a salary package that sounded attractive. Based on that, I agreed to move forward with the interview process.
However, during the first interview round with a manager named Madan, I had a disappointing experience. The manager lacked basic interview etiquette. After asking a few questions, the discussion shifted to salary — and to my surprise, the package mentioned was 20–30% lower than what the HR had initially communicated.
This misalignment felt misleading and a waste of time. When I mentioned my expectations (based on the original HR discussion), I was asked if I still wanted to proceed. I declined because I value transparency and professionalism, which was clearly lacking here.
Overall, a poor experience. Please ensure clear and consistent communication between HR and interviewers — and respect candidates’ time.
