      Cashier Interview

      20 Dec 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Del Mar Swirls

      Interview

Absolutely no "hiring" process. Find the add online and come to the "open interview". When I showed up there were about 20 others and we sat and listened to them explain their company. They then individually called us out to talk. They did not look at my resume or anything before I sat down. They asked me my name and told me to "talk about myself" I explained where I went to school and my internship with NOAA (national oceanic and atmospheric administration). The manager proceeded to joke about my college implying it was nothing but a party school, and then insulted my internship by saying they hate the fishing laws put in place here in SD. (idiots did not realize NOAA has nothing to do with that). Anyway they must have liked my smile or age or something because I left without answering a single question about my work experience and still got a call the next day to come in for training.

      Question 1

No real questions were asked. The hardest part was my 4 year degree being widdled down into a party joke for them as if I did not work hard for a degree in geology (the owner Evan mind you has no degree). I still took the job, only because I was having a hard time finding another, I quit as soon as I got a better job.
